HAWKS SNAG TWO MID-WEEK WINS BEHIND STRONG EFFORT FROM HEIMES
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa – The Northeast Community College volleyball team hosted two different home games this week and came away victorious in both. On Wednesday the Hawks downed Ellsworth Community College by a final score of 3-0 in three sets before taking a victory over North Platte Community College on Thursday by a final score of 3-2 in five sets.

On Wednesday the Hawks downed Ellsworth Community College by a final score of 3-0 in three sets before taking a victory over North Platte Community College on Thursday by a final score of 3-2 in five sets.
The Hawks (16-15, 2-5 ICCAC) took care of Ellsworth quickly during a night where they honored parents of players and sophomore manager Hanna Marshall. The North Platte game went the full distance but the Hawks ultimately came out on top to grab two wins in consecutive days.

"I was glad that we were able to finish the game today against North Platte," Schultze said. "We really struggled to get going and we made a lot of errors that we can control. They really finished strong and that is our goal for the rest of the season! Showing up and ready to go in practice and games."
