NORFOLK, Neb. – After going 2-1 last week, including matches with two top-20 ranked teams, freshman Josie Sanger (Crofton, Neb.) didn't miss a beat.

On Tuesday, Sanger was named the ICCAC DII Volleyball Defensive Player of the Week. She recorded 85 total digs in 14 sets, while currently being ranked 11th in the country, averaging just over six digs per set in 2019.
