NORTHEAST’S RABURN NAMED ALL-REGION BY ICCAC
AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College softball student-athlete Isabel Raburn (Holdrege, Neb.) was named Honorable Mention All-Region as a utility player, it was announced by the ICCAC. The honor marks the second time Raburn was honored by the conference as she was named Second Team All-Region at the conclusion of her freshman season.

The honor marks the second time Raburn was honored by the conference as she was named Second Team All-Region at the conclusion of her freshman season.
Raburn became a force at the plate this season for the Hawks as she hit for a .355 batting average, which was a huge improvement over her .212 mark during her freshman campaign. Raburn blasted eight homers for Northeast this year and drove in 32 RBIs.
In the circle, Raburn was Northeast's ace all season and appeared in 37 games while striking out 163 batters. She picked up 11 wins and tossed 361.2 innings throughout her two years with the Hawks. Raburn was the starting pitcher for Northeast when they took down No. 25 Iowa Central Community College on the road on April 25, and she allowed just four hits in that contest to secure the ranked victory for the Hawks.
Raburn has signed to continue her academic and athletic career at NAIA Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska.
