FIVE STARTERS FOR NORTHEAST MEN’S GOLF NAMED ALL-REGION

AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College men's golf student-athletes D'Arcy Whyte (Moama, Australia), Luke Bonser (Durham, England), Tommy Dredla (Scottsbluff, Neb.), Cameron Lee (Edgerton, Wis.) and Emilio Lechuga Franco (Puebla, Mexico) were named to the various men's golf all-region teams, it was announced by the ICCAC. Whyte and Bonser were named First Team All-Region, Dredla was named Second Team All-Region and Lee and Lechuga Franco were named Honorable Mention All-Region.

D'Arcy Whyte won The Battle for the Mississippi as an individual, finished fourth at the North Central District Tournament and ended the season ranked No. 21 as an individual. Luke Bonser finished in a tie for second at the North Central District Championship and was ranked No. 30 in the nation at the completion of the year. Bonser was named First Team All-Region following both of his seasons with the Hawks.

Tommy Dredla was named Second Team All-Region after finishing tied for sixth at the North Central District Championship and qualified for the national tournament twice during his time at Northeast. Dredla was also named First Team Academic All-Region after all four of his semesters with the Hawks.

Cameron Lee came on late for Northeast and finished tied for 18th at the North Central District Tournament, which included a score of 73 in the second round. Emilio Lechuga Franco finished tied for 12th at the North Central District Championship and finished the 2025-26 campaign ranked No. 27 nationally.

Northeast qualified for the national tournament for the third time in four years, where they recorded a 10th-place finish at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana.
