JOHNSON AND PISCIKAS COMBINE FOR 44 AS NORTHEAST DROPS SHOWDOWN TO NIACC

MASON CITY, Iowa – The Northeast Community College men's basketball team took on North Iowa Area Community College Saturday for a matchup with North Iowa Area Community College. The Hawks dropped the conference contest by a final score of 98-81.

Northeast (8-8, 4-6 ICCAC) had big performances in the stat sheet from Scottie Johnson (Denton, Texas) and Johanes Piscikas (Lakeville, Minn) as they each recorded 22 points in the high-scoring contest. The Trojans shot 50-percent from three in the ballgame as the Hawks will head back home to take on Southwestern Community College Wednesday night in what will mark the first time Northeast has played a conference opponent for the second time this season.
