NORTHEAST ATHLETICS SETS SCHOOL RECORD WITH 119 STUDENT-ATHLETES NAMED ACADEMIC ALL-REGION
AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College has set an athletic department school record with 119 student-athletes named to the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Fall Academic All-Region Teams, breaking the previous record of 114. There were 80 First Team Academic All-Region members.
AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College has set an athletic department school record with 119 student-athletes named to the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Fall Academic All-Region Teams, breaking the previous record of 114. There were 80 First Team Academic All-Region members.
In total, 76.7% of student-athletes at Northeast were awarded a spot on either the first or second team. The program with the highest team GPAs in the department was volleyball at a 3.63.
To qualify, First Team performers had to receive a 3.5 grade point average or above while Second Team members earned between a 3.0 and a 3.49 GPA.
