NORTHEAST ATHLETICS HAS 112 STUDENT-ATHLETES NAMED ACADEMIC ALL-REGION
AMES, Iowa – Northeast Community College had 112 student-athletes named to the various Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Spring Academic All-Region Teams, it was announced by the conference. The Hawks set a school record of 119 in the fall. There were 80 First Team Academic All-Region members.

The Hawks set a school record of 119 in the fall. There were 80 First Team Academic All-Region members.
The program with the highest team GPAs in the department was volleyball at 3.69, after leading Northeast with a 3.63 in the fall.
To qualify, First Team performers had to receive a 3.5 grade point average or above while Second Team members earned between a 3.0 and a 3.49 GPA.
