Northeast volleyball to take on North Dakota State College of Science in first round of national tournament

NORFOLK, Neb. – The Northeast Community College volleyball team drew the eighth-seed at the NJCAA DII National Tournament and will open the first round of play, battling North Dakota State College of Science at Noon on Nov. 15 at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston, W.V.

Hailing from Wahpeton, N.D., the Wildcats hold a 30-2 record and recently defeated North Platte Community College in the district playoff on Nov. 3 to reach the national tournament.

The Hawks enter the tournament with a 19-13 record after securing the Region XI-B Championship over North Iowa Area Community College in three sets on Oct. 28.
