WEST BURLINGTON, Iowa – The Northeast Community College men's basketball team couldn't muster any offense on Saturday night, falling to Southeastern Community College 93-55 in ICCAC play in West Burlington, Iowa.
The Blackhawks managed to put up 45 points in the first half and 58 more in the second half, while holding the Hawks (12-11, 1-4 ICCAC) to just 39 percent shooting from the field.
Freshman Emmette Page (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) notched 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting from the field. Seth Coatta (Minnetonka, Minn.) added 11 points, six assists, five rebounds and four steals. Caleb Rihanek (Spencer, Neb.) added seven points and six boards off the bench.
Northeast returns to action on Monday night, squaring off with Morningside College JV at 8 p.m., at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
