COLUMBUS, Neb. – Backed by a season-high 31 points from Emmette Page (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) the Northeast Community College men's basketball team overcame a five-point deficit at halftime to defeat Central Community College 81-73 Wednesday night at the Raider Fieldhouse in Columbus, Neb.

Despite playing only 26 minutes due to foul trouble, the freshman point-guard had no problem burying eight 3-pointers on 11-of-18 shooting from the field. Page also recorded four rebounds and two assists in the win.

Caleb Rihanek (Spencer, Neb.) tallied 15 points and five rebounds, while Seth Coatta (Minnetonka, Minn.) and Joel Ufele (London, United Kingdom) notched 12 points, four boards and two blocks.

The Hawks (11-10) shot 44 percent from the field, while holding Central to 39 percent.

Northeast returns to conference action tomorrow night as they welcome Marshalltown Community College for a 7 p.m. tip-off at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
