NORFOLK, Neb. – Led by a 22-point performance from Moses Byekwaso (London, United Kingdom), the Northeast Community College men's basketball team topped Concordia University JV 76-65 on Thursday night at the Cox Activities Center in Norfolk.
"Overall, we did what we needed to do to win," head coach Dan Anderson said. "We need to take better care of the ball and distribute it more effectively, but I like how our guys hung in there and never let up."
The Hawks (8-5) led by five points at halftime and ultimately scored 40 points in the second half to come away with the win, holding Concordia to 40 percent shooting from the field.
